Admissions

Reception and KS1 admissions are managed by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

NURSERY ADMISSIONS

Children can be admitted to Nursery in the term after they become 3 years old.  We admit children at the beginning of each term in September, January and April.

All children of Nursery age in England receive 15 hours a week of free early education. At Woodlands, this can be extended to 30 hours if parents meet the eligibility criteria. We can accommodate up to 26 pupils at a time in our main Nursery classroom and 16 in our second classroom called 'Little Squirrels'.

Families will receive a letter from Solihull Family Information Service, this will explain the application process.  Nursery places are allocated by Woodlands Nursery and Infant School directly, please see our Nursery Admissions Policy, under the policies section of our website. This will outline the closing dates, offer dates and start dates etc.  There is also an application form for a Nursery place attached below.

RECEPTION ADMISSIONS

Woodlands Infant School's intake is 60 children each year. Children who are aged 4 years on 31st August are eligible for admission to school from 1st September. Admission forms are sent to parents by the Local Authority.
