Natural weaving

Find yourself a piece of cardboard - it doesn’t have to be plain - it could be a piece of cereal box, about 15cm long and 8 or 9cm wide. Cut little nicks in both short ends every 1cm or so and then get some wool, string or some elastic bands and wind/stretch it into the nicks so that you have a grid into which you can thread your findings. (see pictures below). When you go outside, collect flat things that you can weave into your grid to make a lovely outdoor weaving picture like grass, leaves, flowers (only pick if your adult says you can!) bendy twigs etc.. Don’t forget to send us a picture. I would love to put them up on the forest school board.
