R.E is better known as Religious Education. In school; we have a Christian ethos but we value and celebrate the beliefs of other religions too. There’s so many religious beliefs and expressions of faiths in the world, in your school and in your community.  In school, you will learn about some of these different religions, beliefs and celebrations and how these are all equally important to the people who celebrate them. You will learn the names of the different faiths and religions, the names of religious and sacred texts; like the Bible, the book of Moses and the Qu’ran; the different religious celebrations such as Advent, Hanukkah, Easter and Diwalhi and discover artefacts that are associated with these religions; for example; the Sikh Kara, Jewish driedels, the divalhi candles and the Christian Cross.

You will get to listen to different faith based stories and be able to look at information books and have practical activities that will help you learn all the different aspects of religions, faiths and beliefs in an exciting and interesting way.
